The Home Warranty covers the mechanical breakdown of covered
systems and appliances within the home including: Water Heater,
Washer/Dryer, Microwave (built-in), Dishwasher, Heating,
Refrigerator, Plumbing System, Electrical System, Trash
Compactor (built-in), Air-Conditioning, Oven/Range
- How Much does the homeowner have to
pay on each claim?
There is a standard deductible per claim in Wisconsin of $75
(subject to terms and conditions of the HMS Warranty plan).
- When a seller purchases a Home
Warranty are they covered during the listing period?
Yes!
- How long does the coverage last?
One year from the date of the closing for the buyer.
- Who should I call if I have a
claim?

- When cal I call the claim's
department?
Assistance is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
- When does my coverage begin?
For the buyer: on the day of closing. For the seller: at the
time of listing (provided the agent calls in an application).
- How many claims can I make?
There is no limit to the number of claims you can
make.
- How much does it cost to extend my
coverage for another term?
Currently, $395 (or whatever the rate is at the
time).
